We’ve got some brilliant rides lined up for 2026 — big days out, great people, top coffee, and plenty of bike chat. We can’t wait to get rolling.
With that in mind, we’re making a few changes to how Slipstream runs next season — all designed to make riding with us simpler, smoother, and even more community-led.
From 2026, we’ll no longer be running ride sign-ups through our website.
Instead, all Slipstream rides will be managed through Spond — a free, easy-to-use app that lets you:
- RSVP to rides in seconds
- Get reminders and updates in one place
- See who’s riding before you turn up
- Stay connected with the Slipstream community
No more missed emails. No more last-minute scrambling. Just open the app, tap yes, and ride.
Introducing Rider Membership
For the first time, we’re also introducing a Slipstream Rider membership fee. To join a Slipstream ride in 2026, you will need to become a Rider member.
Your membership will help us to better support rides, keep the experience consistent, and invest back into the community and causes we care about.
For £50 per year, Rider members receive:
- Access to all Slipstream rides
- Free coffee and lunch at every event
- Support vehicle and driver on ride days
- Ride reminders and live event updates
- Exclusive offers from our season partners
- 25% of your membership fee donated to Surfers Against Sewage
How to ride with Slipstream in 2026
- Download the Spond app (free on iOS and Android)
- Request to join the Slipstream group using this code: OQAGO
- We will authorise your membership and send you a payment request
- Pay your Rider fee to activate your membership
- RSVP to rides and you’re good to go
